2. In short
- This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
- We use no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising and no social media plugins.
- Fonts, pictures and the video are served from our own server – your browser does not connect to third parties such as Google or YouTube.
- Only the technical data needed to deliver the pages is processed.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Railway Corporation, San Francisco, USA ("Railway"), on servers in the European Union (the Netherlands). When you visit the website, Railway processes on our behalf the data your browser sends for technical reasons:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- the address requested, status code and amount of data transferred
- the page visited before (referrer), if your browser sends it
- browser and operating system (user agent)
This data is processed to deliver the website to you and to keep it secure and stable, for example to fend off attacks and to find faults. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure, working website. We do not combine this data with other data or analyse it to identify you. The logs are deleted automatically when their retention period ends, after 90 days at the latest.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Railway under Art. 28 GDPR. As Railway is based in the USA, access from the USA cannot be ruled out. Should data be transferred there, it is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
4. Encryption
The website is only delivered encrypted, over HTTPS (TLS). You can tell by the lock symbol and "https://" in your browser's address bar.
5. Sign-up and sign-in
The "Sign up free" and "Sign in" buttons lead to the DDM application. Only there is data collected that you enter yourself, such as your email address. That processing is not covered by this policy; it is described in the privacy notice for DDM.
6. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process what you tell us (such as your name, contact details and your request) in order to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering your request. We delete the data once it is no longer needed for this, unless we are legally required to keep it.
7. Your rights
You have the right to
- access the data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have incorrect data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
Just write to kontakt@iq-me.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
8. Obligation to provide data, automated decisions
You are not obliged to provide us with personal data; without the technical data in section 3, however, the website cannot be delivered. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
